Benny's Brunch Ride
Saturday, December 11, 2004

Seven riders braved a fierce winter sun and warm temperatures, meeting at Sportique Scooters then riding to Benny's for brunch where they were met by three more riders who apparently are late risers. Following brunch, we buzzed Cheesman Park (alas, no one to honk at), then zoomed over to Erico Motorsports to take in the new, limited edition Vespa PX150 and Piaggio X9 scoots. Thanks to Vicki for putting this ride together!

Scoot For Toys Ride 2004

A benefit for the Ronald McDonald House

12 members of SQREAM participated in the ride. A lot of toys and other neccesities were collected and delivered to the Ronald McDonald House in Denver.

We had drinks at JR's Bar and Grill at 17th and Clarkson. We had a short meeting to talk about ideas for the club and future rides. SQREAM shirts were available for pickup.

SQREAM Ride: The A-Mazing October Ride
Sunday, October 3, 2004

What a blast this ride was! We had 10 scooters and 11 riders. We made it all the way out to Chatfield and only got lost once. (Last time we get directions from a motorcyclist!) We did get lost more than once inside the corn maze, however. We thought we might have to eat the corn to stay alive. Good thing we had a great picnic lunch at Chatfield before hand. Thanks to everyone who took pics!

SQREAM Ride: The Big House Tour

Summer and Carol for hosted a wonderful brunch at their home. And what a wonderful home they have. The Big House Tour really started right there. They have big hearts and an incredible house. We had 16 scooters on the ride and 18 people. Summer and Carol led us through some beautiful Denver neighborhoods and we stopped in Washington Park for a group photo.

SQREAM Ride and Cookout

11:00 am

Glenn and Terry hosted a ride and cookout at their home in Congress Park. We met at their place at 11:00am for a short ride around Capitol Hill, downtown Denver, a zip through City Park and then headed back to their house for a cookout. Glenn and Terry provided hamburgers and hot dogs, soft drinks and side dishes made with tomatoes from their garden.

The first official meeting and ride of SQREAM took place on

Sunday. August 8 at 10am
at Deidrich's Coffeehouse at 9th and Downing.

We had 19 show up at our first meeting and ride! After filling upon on caffeine, the group scooted through Cheesman Park, Cherry Creek and had brunch at Gunther Toodys. Everyone who attended received SQREAM buttons and we did a door prize drawing for a SQREAM t-shirt and mini scooter toy. We are going to be working on getting shirts made for the SQREAM club. They will be a bowling shirt style with button down the front. The SQREAM logo will be embroidered on the back with our names on the front. Two girls volunteered to host a ride in September and we are going to scoot to the Queer Guerilla Bar"Wigs and Shades" event on September 24.

Mile Hi Mayhem Scooter Rally
July 30-August 1, 2004
