Who knew learning could be so fun? Approximately 40-50 scooterists, SQREAMers and guests, were present Saturday at Erico Motorsports. Those attending learned the importance of proper tire pressure, battery tenders, and using the right lubricant (okay, we already knew that). We also had demonstrations regarding the importance and safety aspect of good jackets, gloves, and most importantly, helmets. (Dr. Summer still says none of us would look good in diapers after our head injury).

Then, most importantly, we ate! Erico kindly provided the after hours time of Max, Jonathan, and Josh. In addition, we had a raffle with door prizes including (I could not see the two little Vespas...please describe them), the omnipresent pink Barbie Vespa, and a FREE Corrazo scooter jacket donated by Erico. Our organizer, Nuclia Waste, won that, but gifted it to his husband, Anthony Aragon. Anthony is also the club's newest rider. Penny Parker wants to know if Anthony is trying to be closer to his boss, Mayor Hick, or his honey, NucliaWaste!! Afterwards, some hardy souls scooted through Cheesman on the way to JR's for a cocktail.

All-in-all, a good time was had by all!
