Photos from New Year's Day Ride to Golden and Lookout Mountain

13 Scooters showed up at Deidrich's Coffeehouse at 1 p.m. on New Year's Day, braving a chilly day for a ride to Golden and up Lookout Mountain. We were determined to kick off our year with a fun scoot. Penn Beldock got her first scooter ride on John Beldock's Typhoon. Tai, Penn, and John stayed behind on the ride while the rest of us took off toward Golden. We lost one rider around Wadsworth. The chilly wind seemed to be the reason. 9 of us made it to Golden and warmed up at the Buffalo Rose with hot chocolate and root beer. We are such hard core drinkers! 7 of us climbed up the windy road of Lookout Mountain and made it to the top. We took a few pics in celebration and froze our way down the mountain again back to Denver. A beautiful sunny day and a great way to scoot in the New Year!
