2nd Annual Ride to Boulder, CO
Saturday, June 3, 2006
The 2nd annual Boulder ride on June 3rd was a big success! Six riders raced the backroads, always obeying posted limits of course, and got to Boulder in record time. We were joined at Pearl Street by a couple of SQREAM groupies, who could not keep their hands off us as you can see in the accompanying photos. Starving from the hour-plus ride, we went directly to BD's Mongolian Barbeque for lunch. We were greeted by the friendliest host EVER, the staff treated us like the celebrities that we are, and we had a great meal served by a waitress who was apparently autistic because she never wrote anything down yet always got the order right, even the drinks. The next step was to stroll through all the strange stores and odd people which can be found in this area and take a few more snaps. Finally it was time to zip home with our purchases, which consisted mainly of scented oils, dangly ear rings, and big hats which seemed like a good idea at the time. Denver seems so tame after a day in Boulder.
