Scoot and Be Mary Ride, Denver, CO

Meeting at Scooter Joe's Saturday A.M. were Robin, Jan, Mark, (our leader) and Rob, later joined by Cesqua. After being treated to High Tea, compliments of the owner who said "you all look good out here", we got under way. After a brief phone call, Sesqua said we could pick up Christina along the way, her Ultra Babe. All gathered, we rode out 32nd Ave. for a photo op at a park in Lakewood, where Cesqua served buns. We continued into Golden for a Hawaiian shaved ice treat by Cold Creek, then saddled up for our return to Denver for lunch and libations served by the friendly and capable staff of Hamburger Mary's, where we were joined by Gary, and an unexpected special guest; none other than the inimmitable Dame Edna, who can suck down a martini like a Hoover DeLuxe! Good times were had by all, and a big thanks to Mark for leading a great ride on a most excellent day!!
