Red Rocks Ride

We had 15 SQREAMers this Sunday on our ride out to Red Rocks. The day was warm and gorgeous. After meeting at Scooter Joe's Coffee, we headed west on Alameda, southwest on Morrison Road and then west again on Jewell. We made a quick photo stop at the "Pirate Petro & Booty Mart" complete with skull and crossbone. While riding in Red Rocks, we came across a man on a unicycle. Bob K. wanted to know what happened to the rest of his bike.

We had lunch at the Morrison Inn. Kim will go down in the SQREAM history book as the first to get a parking ticket on a SQREAM ride. You gotta be careful about parking those 150cc scooter on the sidewalks, even in Morrison. Sorry Kim!

We rode back into Denver along 20th and 32nd Avenues. Bob K. had the best quote of the day when we saw a Harley Rider. "You know, it kind of takes away the Harley mystique when your riding in a pair of gardening gloves."
